Damico Parker Jr. is a center fielder from Seattle, Washington. He joins Hawai?i Pacific after playing baseball at Lassen College in Susanville, California, where he competed in the outfield under head coach Frank Avilla and earned First Team All-Conference honors.
Parker graduated from Garfield High School in Seattle, where he competed in baseball and basketball. He played center field under head coach Chris Moedritzer and earned All-Metro Honorable Mention recognition as an outfielder and a Gold Glove Award.
Parker enjoys drawing tattoos, watching anime, playing pickleball, fishing, basketball and hiking. His favorite foods include sushi, Korean barbecue, Spam and rice, chicken katsu, steak quesadillas, taco salad, ribs, and macaroni and cheese. His favorite athletes include Michael Jordan, Jackie Robinson, Ken Griffey Jr., Barry Bonds, Edgar Martinez, Kyrie Irving, Kobe Bryant, Lawrence Butler and Michael Harris II. In 10 years, Parker hopes to be playing professional baseball. He chose HPU because of the care and interest shown by the coaching staff and the positive experiences shared by teammates from Hawai?i.
