Will Woodward joins the Sharks after competing in baseball at the University of Washington. The 6-foot-7 power forward from Redmond, Washington is pursuing a degree in Construction Management at Hawai?i Pacific.
A standout three-sport athlete at Eastlake High School, Woodward earned nine varsity letters while competing in basketball, baseball, and football. On the basketball court, he was named KingCo MVP, earned First Team All-State honors, and surpassed 1,000 career points. On the baseball diamond, he was ranked as the No. 11 player in Washington's 2022 class and the No. 5 left-handed pitcher while participating in the prestigious Area Code Games. He also starred on the football field as Eastlake's starting tight end, helping the team to a third-place finish while recording 480 receiving yards and five touchdowns.
Woodward continued his athletic career at the University of Washington, where he competed as a pitcher for the Huskies and earned Scholar-Athlete recognition. He chose HPU because of the coaching staff, the opportunity to be part of something special, and the combination of a great location, school, and basketball opportunity.
Away from athletics, Woodward enjoys running, stretching, and playing chess. Looking ahead, he hopes to compete as a professional athlete.
