Jalen Samuel, a 5’8 guard from Simi Valley, California, joins the Sharks after a decorated career at powerhouse Sierra Canyon School under coach Alicia Komaki. Samuel was a key contributor on championship teams, helping Sierra Canyon capture CIF Southern Section and national titles, while twice earning All-Mission League Second Team honors. At Hawai‘i Pacific, she is pursuing a degree in marine biology, drawn by the opportunity to study her major while continuing her basketball career in the unique setting of Hawai‘i.
