Kyla Hopton, a 5’10 guard from Redondo Beach, California, brings Division I experience to Hawai‘i Pacific after competing at the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa under coach Marcelo Enriquez. A multi-sport athlete, she excelled in both basketball and volleyball, serving as a shooting guard on the hardwood and a setter/opposite on the court. At Redondo Union High School, Hopton was a three-year letterwinner before continuing her collegiate journey in Honolulu. Now at HPU, she is pursuing a degree in psychology while continuing her athletic career.
