Box Score KANEOHE, HI (November 1, 2014) – The Hawai'i Pacific Women's Soccer Team (10-4-2, 7-3-1) won its last game at Atherton Field for this season 2-1 against Chaminade University (3-9-1, 3-6-1) on Saturday afternoon.

Taylor Rae Silva and
Julia Borges, four senior players celebrated their last game of collegiate soccer on home ground.
The Sharks started well, taking seven shots within the first ten minutes, but the Chaminade keeper prevented the early lead with some good saves.
Despite the Sharks making the plays, it was the Silverswords who grabbed the lead in the 23rd minute. A pass found a Chaminade player inside the box who did not give the keeper any chance and made it 1-0 with a perfect shot in the upper left corner.
Following, the Sharks seemed shocked by the goal against and needed some time to come back. Although having some good shots from Stephanie Catone (39') and Ubongen (42', 44') the Sharks went into the half one goal behind.
After the changeover, the Sharks came back aggressive and hungry. Taking advantage of their physical superiority, the Sharks were attacking early and hard and did not give Chaminade any opportunity to develop its play.
In the 58th minute, Silva sent a good cross to top scorer
Erika Ellis who finished the ball over the goalie, making it 1-1.
The next minutes presented a dominating HPU team. Cameau (59'),
Sierra Kadooka (62') and Ellis (67') made the Silverswords' defense struggle with good shots.
Seventy-two minutes in the game, Silva found senior Cameau inside the box who was able to score her seventh goal of the season in her last home game with a beautiful header.
In the last minutes, the Sharks did not leave any doubt about who is reigning at Atherton Field and had several more good shots and carried home the win confidently.

The Sharks also dominated the statistics in shots (20-8) and shots on goal (8-3). Keeper
Kelby Boswell finished the game with two saves. Ubongen and Cameau led the Sharks in shots with five each.
The Sharks will now travel to Big Island to play their last game of the season against UH Hilo on Saturday, November 8th.
