HOLUA, HI (February 17, 2014) – The fifth-ranked Hawai'i Pacific Men's Tennis Team (4-0) shutout UH Hilo 9-0 on President's Day in a match played near Kona.

The doubles teams of Petr Michnev/Thibaud Berland and Jaume Martinez-Vich/Mattis Wetzel were both perfect, each winning 8-0. Adriano Locorotondo and Yann Renault continued the winning at third doubles with an 8-6 victory.

The dominating doubles performance wasn't an aberration. Michnev, Martinez-Vich, and Berland lost a combined two games in wins at first, second and fourth singles. Wetzel and Locorotondo also overwhelmed their opponents with identical 6-1, 6-3 wins. Clemens Graute made his season debut and earned a straight set victory (6-3, 6-2).

The Sea Warriors will next host Sacred Heart University on March 2nd at 10:00 a.m. at the UH Tennis Complex.
