Box Score 2 KANEOHE, HI (April 19, 2014) The Hawai`i Pacific Softball Team (17-22, 15-13) split a doubleheader with Chaminade (9-30, 7-21). The Silverswords took game one 5-3, but the Sea Warriors responded to win game two 5-1.
In game one, the Silverswords jumped on the board early with a pair of runs in the second and made it 3-1 after the two sides exchanged runs in the third.
Each team scored a pair of runs in the seventh as the Sea Warriors left the bases loaded in the 5-3 loss.
In game two, HPU
Kristen Caskey came out strong on the mound.
The Sea Warriors scored a pair of runs in the first and made the score 4-1 with two more in the fifth. An insurance run in the sixth gave the HPU the 5-1 victory.

Keila Elderts,
Toni Baysa and
Charisse Tanabe each had RBI hits for the Sea Warriors.
Caskey pitched every inning of both games only allowing just five hits and one earned run with seven strikeouts or the victory in game two.
The Sea Warriors return to action on April 24
th to face BYU-Hawaii at Howard A. Okita Field.
