LA JOLLA, CA (March 14, 2015) – The second-ranked Hawai'i Pacific Men's Tennis Team (10-0) blanked #17 UC San Diego (8-6) 5-0 on Saturday afternoon in Southern California.

The doubles teams of Jakub Hadrava/Jaume Martinez-Vich and Marko Lenz/Maik Burlage each walked over their opponents, wining 8-2 and 8-3, respectively.  The top doubles team of Thibaud Berland and Yann Renault were pushed to the limit but responded with a 9-8 win.

Lenz stayed perfect in his HPU career when his opponent was forced to retire. Hadrava then ended the match with a commanding 6-3, 6-1 win at fifth singles. Of the unfinished matches, HPU had the lead in all four.

The Sharks return to the floor on Monday (March 16th) when #22 St. Edwards's and HPU matchup on a neutral court in La Jolla, CA.
