Box Score 2 IRVINE, Calif. (April 8, 2016) – The Hawaii Pacific softball team lost both games of a doubleheader with Concordia University Irvine, falling 6-4 in the opener and dropping the return matchup 6-1, at Eagles Field to wrap up a 14-game road swing.
The Sharks (13-29, 9-15 PacWest) were led at the dish by left fielder
Dominique Walker and third baseman
Kayla Sanchez. The power hitters both notched solo home runs in the opener, while Concordia's two-run homer from Jasmin Dresser served as the walk-off winner. In the return matchup, Sharks speedster
Kiana Wolfe led the way with two hits and a stolen base.

Kristen Caskey (6-9) took the loss in Game 1 after surrendering six runs (four earned) on eight hits. HPU pitcher
Paige Crawford (5-11) took the loss in Game 2 after allowing six runs on eight hits through 2 2/3 innings.
The Eagles (32-9, 13-5) received homers from Charlotte Foster and Nicole Chavez to take the second game comfortably.
HPU concludes its season with home doubleheaders against local rivals UH Hilo (April 16 at noon/2:30 p.m.) and Chaminade (April 23 at noon/2:30 p.m.) then finishes up at UH Hilo (April 30 at noon/2:30 p.m.).
