WAHIAWA, Hawai'i – Led by the 4-under-par 68 of sophomore
Keli'iokalani Kamelamela-Dudoit, Hawai'i Pacific University defeated Chaminade 285-308 in a dual match Monday afternoon at Leilehua Golf Course.
Kamelamela-Dudoit of Ho'olehua, Hawai'i/Kamehameha-Kapalama toured the par 72, 6,724 yard Leilehua course with five birdies and one bogey.
Chaminade's Colby Gunderson fired a 1-under 71 to finish second individually.
Senior
Minsu Lee of San Jose, Calif./Willow Glen and junior
Ryan Torres of San Jose, Calif./Evergreen Valley each carded an even-par 72 to tie for third. Freshman
Blake Mullen of Overland Park, Kan./Olathe East added a 1-over 73 for fifth.

Ray Kim of Aiea, Hawai'i/Moanalua and while sophomore
Sirasit Prateepmongkol of Bangkok, Thailand/Ruamrudee International tied with Schuyler Peterson of Chaminade for sixth with a 2-over 74. Junior newcomer Thomas Purcell of Livere pool, England/St. Mary's via Brevard (N.C.) posted a 3-over 75.
The Sharks and Silverswords will meet again in a dual on Oct. 14 at the Hawai'i Kai Golf Course.
