OLYMPIA, Wash. – Newcomer
Kaley Saludares fired the best round of the tournament on Saturday in leading Hawai'i Pacific University to a third place finish at the Saint Martin's Women's Invitational at the Olympia Country & Golf Club.
Saludares, a sophomore from Hilo, Hawai'i/Waiakea via Concordia Portland, toured the par 73, 5,802 yard Olympia course in 4-over-par 77, the lowest round in the two-day tournament. Saludares added the 77 to an 88 from Friday to finish fourth at 19-over 165, four strokes out of the lead.
Northwest Nazarene's Taylor Entenman won medalist honors with a 5-over 78 on the day and a 15-over 161, beating Saint Martin's Kathryn Crimp by two strokes at 163. NNU's Hannah Holloway finished fourth with a 164.
The Sharks put together a 355 on Saturday as a team, to finish at 717 in third, seven strokes better than fourth place Hawai'i Hilo at 724 and well ahead of fifth place finisher Bellevue (Wash.) at 851. Northwest Nazarene went wire-to-wire for the team title with a 330 on Saturday for a 663 and down host and team runner-up Saint Martin's who posted a 687.

Hannah Brown of San Tan Valley, Ariz./Combs, grabbed seventh place, with a 9-over 82 in the final round for a total of 171. Freshman
Victoria McQuay of Virginia Beach, Va./Green Run, who was in a fifth place tie after the first round, struggled with a 106 in the final round for a 192, tying her with junior
Kassidy Dunn of Berlin, Pa./Berlin Borthersvalley who shot a 93 on Saturday. Freshman
Avery Weil of Colorado Springs, Colo./Maclaren, wrapped up the scoring with a 103 for a 211 total.
The Sharks remain in the Pacific Northwest, traveling to Portland, Ore., to play in the Concordia Invitational on Monday and Tuesday.
