Jordan Curry is the first PacWest Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week for her performance in this weekend's Desert Stinger Tournament in Las Vegas.
Curry, a 6-0 senior from Farmington, N.M./Farmington, shut down No. 23 UC San Diego in a 3-1 win on Friday night to open the season. Curry held the No. 23 Tritons to one unearned run as she scattered seven hits with two walks and two strikeouts. She did not allow an earned run all weekend as she also appeared in relief on Sunday.
