SANTA ROSA, Calif. – The Hawai'i Pacific University women shot a final round 333 to finish at 660 for 13th in the Sonoma State Spring Invitational Tuesday at the Santa Rosa Golf and Country Club.
The Sharks were one stroke behind 12th place Dominican (Calif.) at 659 and four behind Montana State Billings in 11th at 656. HPU finished nine strokes better than Cal State LA in 14th with a 666.
Concordia Portland shot a 312 in the final round to win the team title with a 612 winning by two strokes. Host Sonoma State posted a 315 and Academy of Art a 317 to tie for second at 614. Point Loma had a 317 to finish fourth at 617.
The Sharks were paced for a second day by senior Pranisa "Mint" Chimsuti of Pathumtani, Thailand/Satit Bilingual School who once again toured the par 72, 6,000-yard Santa Rosa layout at 8-over-par 80 to finish with a 160.

Kaia Takaki from Honolulu/Kalani shot an 84 for a 166 total, matching senior
Lexandra So of West Covina, Calif./West Covina who had and 85 for a 166. Senior
Mika Walker of Honolulu/Kaiser recorded an 84 for a 169, while sophomore
Marli Koba of Seattle/Garfield added an 89 for a 173.
There was a three-way tie for the individual title, with Concordia Portland's Shantel Antonio, Point Loma's Alli Kim and Academy of Art's Biapor Khunsri all finishing at 4-over-par 148. CUP's Cammie Decker was fourth at 5-over 149.
The Sharks are idle until the PacWest Conference Championships April 22-24 at the Wigwam Resort in Litchfield Park, Ariz.
