TEMPE, Ariz. – Hawai'i Pacific University 's Elodie Busson has been named to the 2020 Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division II Women's All-America team.
 
Busson, a 5-7 junior from Poille Sur Vegre, France, was named to the team in singles. Playing the No. 1 position for HPU, Busson posted a 6-4 record at the top of the lineup in leading the No. 4 Sharks to a 10-5 record in the COVID-19 shortened 2020 season. The Sharks finished second in the inaugural ITA National Indoor Championships in February.
 
Busson also ranked second in the West Region in singles by the ITA earlier this month.
 
Because of the shortened season, the ITA created special criteria for awarding All-America honors that included finishes in non-NCAA counting ITA events as well as using unpublished individual computer rankings.
 
Also named All-America from the PacWest Conference were Petra Ivankovic and Anna Savchenko of Azusa Pacific in both singles and as a doubles team, and Colbeyshae Emery of Biola in singles.
