KANEOHE – The Hawai'i Pacific University softball team will host an open tryout for currently enrolled, full-time students on Sunday, Sept. 26 at 2 p.m., weather permitting, at Howard Okita Field on HPU's Hawai'i Loa campus.
 
Any full-time HPU student interested in playing intercollegiate softball may tryout, but pre-registration is required as well as completion of the HPU sports medicine pre-participation packet available at HPUSharks.com/sportsmedtryout. Participants must provide proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or provide a negative PCR test within 72 hours of the tryout.

Participants are expected to come prepared with their own apparel and equipment (softball pants, cleats, and gloves). Sharks Softball will have balls, bats, and helmets available for the observation and evaluation.
