BELLINGHAM, WASH. – The Hawai'i Pacific University women's golf team finished up competition in the WWU Invitational Tuesday afternoon at Bellingham Golf and Country Club.
The Sharks finished the two-round event 55-over-par, a total of 631, to take eighth place. British Columbia took home the trophy in a playoff against Dominican at 22-over-par.
HPU's top finisher was
Lily Landt, who carded final round 78 for a 10-over 154 and a tie for 20th.
Clarissa Burhan tied for 34th at 14-over 158, and
Shuiyun He was one stroke back at 15-over 159 and tied for 37th.
Also competing for the Sharks were Kami Kwongg (160, T41),
Kellie Yamane (168, T68), and
Kirsten Lindner (175, 80th).
The Sharks return home to host the Southwest Airlines HPU Sharks Shootout from Oct. 25-26.
