Sharks Take 14th at Leilehua Golf Course

MILILANI - The Hawaii Pacific University men's golf team wrapped up their two days of competition Wednesday afternoon at Leilehua Golf Course.

The men's squad finished 14th overall in the event while Chico State and Stanislaus battled for the top spot. Each team finished 18-under-par and the title was decided via tiebreaker, where Chico State's fifth scorer had the better score. In the individual category each team had a member at 9-under where it was determined that Chris Ebster took home the win in a tiebreaker too.

Hawaii Pacific carded a 14-over team score led by Shion Suzuki, he finished T10 at five-under and a total of 139 over his two rounds.

Teammate Kelii Dudiot was even par over the two days as he finished T29 and a total of 144. Miles Atkinson recorded a 10-over 154, placing him T73. The last two scorers for the Sharks were T77, Grant Garrison and Santino Diokno came in at 11-over 156 in the event.

Hawaii also had individuals in the event with Hasee Nazir leading the charge at 1-over 145. Jayden Ramos came in T82 at 14-over with Noah Daher rounding out the team at T86 20-over-par.
