Landt, Yamane and Suzuki in the Hunt Headed to the Final Round at PacWest Championships

LITCHFIELD, Ariz. – Multiple Sharks are in the hunt headed to the final round of the PacWest Championships on Tuesday at the Wigwam Golf Club.

The men were out first again today with Hasee Nazir amongst the first group out. Nazir posted a 10-over-par round improving on yesterday's score by four strokes and has him in 27th. Shion Suzuki had another great round and posted a 74 2-over-par with three birdies, five bogeys. Keli'i Dudoit matched his teammate with a 2-over-par round that had him one under through the front nine, where he had two birdies, and one bogey. He found slightly more trouble with three bogeys on the back and six pars, to help him sit T17 after two. Grant Garrison was up and down through his 8-over-par round with six bogeys, two doubles, but also two birdies, he sits just outside the top-20 at T22 headed into Wednesdays final round. Miles Atkinson found some trouble on the back nine en route to a 14-over par round and hold sole possession of 26th.

On the women's side Holy Names has separated themselves from HPU slightly with an 9-stroke lead. HPU shot an identical 317 on day two that had them move up three spots to number two. Lily Landt had a great 5-over-par round with two birdies and seven bogeys to climb her way T6 headed into the final round. Kellie Yamane didn't see the same success as she saw in round one, but kept herself in contention as she is T9 after a 12-over-par day two. Both girls will have a chance to catch leader Jae Eun Park of ArtU who holds a three shot lead over Landt and five over Yamane.

Kameron Kwong turned in a nice round with a 5-over-par round with two birdies and seven bogeys. Kwong jumped six spots in her second round and will look to take that momentum into Wednesday. Sharing a piece of T23 with Kwong is Shuiyun He who posted a 9-over-par round that saw two birdies early on, but saw three doubles hurt her in the round. Rounding out the bunch is Clarissa Burhan who shot 10-over-par, with a lone birdie on the fourth hole, she holds solo 27th.

The final round begins tomorrow with the men teeing off at 4:00 am HT and the women at 7:00 am HT.
