LITCHFIELD, Ariz. – Sharks golf ended season with a pair of fifth place finishes on Wednesday afternoon at the Wigwam Golf Club.
UH Hilo claimed the men's team and individual titles with co-champions in the individual both being from Hilo. Holy Names also claimed the team and individual title on the women's side.
The HPU women had two top ten finishers in
Lily Landt and
Kellie Yamane and shot a final 963 combined total. Landt started the day in sixth and ended in the same place after an 8-over-par final round. She had nine bogeys and dropped in a lone birdie on hole 13 to finish four strokes off the leader. Yamane finished T10 while she sunk two birdies, but three doubles help extinguish her chances at catching the leader. This was the first time HPU had two top-10 finishers in the same event.
In her first PacWest Championship
Kameron Kwong finished T20 at 31-over-par and shot a final round 11-over-par with a lone birdie on number two. Right behind her was
Shuiyun He who turned in a 12-over-par round also with a single birdie for a T22 finish. Rounding out the team was
Clarissa Burhan who kept the team birdie train alive with one on number four. She finished with a 16-over-par round.

Keli'i Dudoit shot a 5-over-par round with two birdies and seven bogeys. Dudoit remained double-bogey free the entire tournament and tied with Suzuki for best round on the team with a 2-over-par round on the second day.
Grant Garrison was next in line for HPU finishers with a final round 9-over-par to put him 22-over-par on the tournament. His final round he had 11 pars with five bogeys, windy conditions played part in two doubles on the back nine with only five in the tournament for Garrison.
Hasee Nazir had a less than ideal start with a triple on one, but stayed in mentally carding a birdie later on for and helped himself to a final round 12-over-par. Lastly for Hawaii Pacific was
Miles Atkinson who despite five doubles, carded two birdies to shoot 16-over-par.
