IRVINE, Calif. - The PacWest Conference announced their weekly awards with Robin Sanz of men's tennis taking home Player of the Week.

Sanz pulled off two impressive victories against Division I opponents. He rallied for a three-set win over Portland State's Andrea Brignacca, 3-6, 6-2, 6-3, and followed that up with a sweep of UC San Diego's Daniel Traxler, 6-1, 6-1. He also teamed with Riku Ogasawara at No. 2 doubles to defeat UCSD 6-4 (there were no doubles matches against Portland State). On the season, the German is 8-1 in singles on court one and 7-2 in doubles. Sanz was a Second Team All-PacWest selection in 2022.

Up next for the men's team is Senior Day on Wednesday against Cal Lutheran beginning at 11:00 am at Kailua Racquet Club.
