LEXINGTON, KY – The United States Marine Corps and the American Volleyball Coaches Association announced that a record 1,333 collegiate and high school volleyball teams have earned the USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award this season.
 
Hawaii Pacific University women's volleyball team was named to the yearly list that was conceived in the 1992-93 season for maintaining a year-long grade-point average between 3.3 and 4.0.
