Biography

Personal: Born in Boise, Idaho…parents are Scott and Lori Goeas…has two siblings, Taylor (14) and Ty (12)…nicknames are “HaliBerry,” “HaliHammur,” “Tre’ Songz” and “Tre’ Beatz”…hobbies include going to the beach, dirt biking, and kicking it with the boys… favorite foods are Italian, Hawaiian, and Mexican…favorite movies are The Hangover, Talledega Nights, Remember the Titans, and Anchor Man...favorite athletes are Ozzie Smith, Michael Jordan, Hope Solo, and Jenny Finch…chose HPU for the baseball program and HPU gives him the best of both worlds, being able to travel to the mainland and stay home to be close to family

Prior to HPU: Graduated from Saint Louis in Honolulu, Hawaii…played baseball under Coach George Gusman as shortstop and pitcher…was awarded ILH Honorable Mention.

HPU: 2016: Played in 39 games, starting 27...had the second best batting average on the team with a .337 (32-95)...scored 16 runs and drove in 13 rbi...recorded 17 walks, seven doubles, and one homerun while stealing eight bases...made three appearances on the mound, pitching four innings, and recording one save with a 4.50 ERA  2015: Appeared in 13 games offensively, making six starts...hit for a .179 average (5-28)...scored six runs, drove in three rbi, and hit two doubles. 2014: Haliburton-Goeas made 11 appearances, three of which were starts and recorded a 1-3 record on the year with one save while posting a 6.12 ERA and struck out nine. 2013: Made 13 appearances, 10 of them starts…went 3-5 with a 5.73 ERA with a complete game…struck out 33 batters and held his opponents to a .271 batting average…pitched eight shutout innings striking out nine and giving up only two hits at Hawai’i Hilo on March 1st  2012: Redshirted
