Biography

Personal: Born in Riverside, CA…grew up in Las Vegas, NV with parents Bill and Winnie Van Stone…has three brothers; Daniel (24), teammate Tyler (19), and Marcus (17)...hobbies include all sports…favorite food is pizza…favorite movie is Bull Durham…favorite musical artist is Keith Urban…favorite athlete is Greg Maddux…intends to major in Mathematics…in 10 years he hopes to be coaching or still playing baseball…chose HPU because he wanted to be able to live in Hawai’i and play baseball

Prior to HPU: Attended Foothill High School in Las Vegas, NV where he played shortstop and pitched for head coach Matt Lglitz…was an All-Conference pitcher in 2011 and 2012…pitched at Taft College for coach Vince Maiocco where he was an All-Conference Pitcher for 2013 and 2014

HPU: 2016: Made 11 appearances with 10 starts...posted a record of 5-2 with a 3.49 ERA...threw 67 innings with 24 strikeouts...recorded two complete games and one shutout. 2015: Made 10 appearances, all starts... posted a record of 3-4 with a 5.06 ERA...pitched 58.2 innings while striking out 32 batters and allowing just 10 walks.
