Personal: born in Greensboro, NC…parents Susan and Richard raised his brother Elliot (25) and him in Bellevue, Washington…his hobbies include basketball, football, and hanging out with friends…his favorite foods are his mother’s cooking…favorite movies are Sandlot and Major League…his favorite musical artists are Drake and Kendrick Lamar…favorite athletes include Kobe Bryant, Earl Thomas, and Russell Wilson…Kalin is majoring in Marketing…in 10 years he hopes to working with a great career…he chose HPU because it is a great place to play baseball and further his education

Prior to HPU: Attended Issaquah High School where he played football as quarterback for coach Chris Bennett and baseball as pitcher for coach Rob Reese…he was an honorable mention and team captain for both baseball and football…later attended Lower Columbia College where he pitched for coaches Donegal Fergus and Eddie Smith…while at Lower Columbia participated in the Sophomore Showcase

HPU: 2016: Made 11 appearances with seven starts and posted a 3-3 record on a 4.33 ERA...pitched 35.1 innings and struck out 21 batters. 2015- Made 11 appearances with four starts and posted a 4-1 record on a 3.09 ERA...pitched 35 innings and struck out 19 batters while only allowing nine walks.
