Katherine Michelbook joins the Sharks from Spokane, Washington, where she graduated from Ferris High School. The 5-foot-10 middle is pursuing a degree in Nursing at Hawai?i Pacific.

Michelbook earned three varsity letters at Ferris High while competing as a middle blocker under head coach Stacey Hazelbaker. She also brings collegiate experience after competing in both indoor and beach volleyball as a right-side hitter.

Michelbook chose HPU because of the welcoming environment created by the coaching staff and team, saying they immediately made Hawai?i feel like home. Away from volleyball, she enjoys painting, writing, hiking, reading, and shell collecting. Looking ahead, she hopes to become a pediatric nurse practitioner while continuing to make a positive impact on others.
