Eliana Barnett transfers to Hawai?i Pacific from St. Petersburg College, where she earned the Coaches' Award and Defensive Specialist of the Year honors. The 5-foot-6 libero/defensive specialist is from Titusville, Florida, and is pursuing a degree in Marine Biology.

Prior to her collegiate career, Barnett attended Astronaut High School, where she competed in both indoor and beach volleyball under head coach Diego Perez. She was named Defensive Specialist of the Year, earned two War Eagle Awards, and reached the 1,000-dig milestone during her prep career.

Barnett chose HPU for its family atmosphere and looks forward to continuing her academic and athletic journey in Hawai?i. Away from the court, she enjoys making jewelry, surfing, skating, and diving. In the future, she hopes to become a marine conservationist focused on restoring coral reefs.
