Groves proved to be a force on both ends of the pitch this year, a workhorse on the defensive and offensive sides of the field. He was named to the All-PacWest First team and to the NSCAA All-West Region Team for his performance over the season. His lone goal on the year was a game winner in double overtime against Notre Dame de Namur. He helped anchor a backfield that averaged only 1.12 goals against per game.
