Waipahu, Hi (April 2, 2012) – The Hawai'i Pacific men's tennis team was untested in a 6-0 rout of visiting California Lutheran University. The 14th ranked Sea Warriors are now 11-3 with four games left until the postseason.

The singles matches were played first in the 5 PM match at Central Oahu Regional Park, and with HPU holding a 6-0 lead the doubles matches were not finished. Georgi Yordanov was dominant at second singles with a 6-2, 6-0 win. Ji Hoon Heo was just as effective with a 6-1, 6-1 win at sixth singles. Fourth ranked Petr Michnev was strong at the top of the lineup, and as all Sea Warriors, won in straight sets. Gerald Moretti and Adriano Locorotondo both were untested at fourth and fifth singles.  

HPU will now travel to Pensacola, FL to play four matches, three against top ten teams. The trip will start on April 5th at 9 AM against Ouachita Baptist University.
