Maj Dusanic brings international experience and a strong basketball pedigree to the Sharks’ frontcourt. Originally from Jesenice, Slovenia, he starred at Dream City Christian High School before competing at the University of San Francisco under coach Todd Golden, where he contributed to a 2022 NCAA Tournament run. On the international stage, Maj is a U19 Slovenian National Champion and earned a bronze medal at the FIBA U18 European Championship. Drawn to HPU by the program’s ambitious goals, family-like atmosphere, and the appeal of Hawai‘i’s location and climate, Maj is pursuing his MBA while preparing for a professional future both on and off the court. Off the hardwood, he enjoys photography, surfing, and hiking.
