Ethan Taafe brings size, versatility, and international experience to the Sharks’ backcourt. A multi-sport athlete at Anglican Church Grammar School, he competed in basketball, rugby union, and volleyball, earning varsity basketball honors all four years. He helped lead his team to consecutive GPS Premierships and a Queensland State Championship while being named to the All-State Team in both 2019 and 2020. Ethan chose HPU for the culture of the program, the opportunity to grow as both a player and a man, and the advantage of playing closer to home for his family in Australia. Off the court, he enjoys reading, surfing, and drinking coffee.
