Kemp Vanes, known as the “Red Mamba,” hails from Phoenix, Arizona, where he played basketball at Arcadia High School under coaches Phil Lozevski and Showtime Whitmore. He joined HPU for the beautiful location of Hawai‘i and the support of the coaching staff and teammates. Off the court, Kemp enjoys sleeping, reading, cooking, spending time at the ocean, watching movies, and “spitting game.”
