Gabriela Artigas, was named the NAIA All-Tournament National Championship Team MVP in 1990, the same year her Lady Sea Warriors won the NAIA National Championship title.  She is an NAIA 1st team All-American and team captain from 1988-1990.  Gabriela later coached at HPU from 1994-95.  Currently, Gabriela is a computer science professor at HPU.
