Personal: Born in Honolulu, Hawaii…parents are Ron and Debbie Doi…has one sister, Renee (26)…nickname is “Rusty”…hobbies include going to the beach and lifting…favorite food is rice…favorite movie is Step Brothers…favorite music artists are The Green and SOJA…favorite athlete is Robinson Cano…in 10 years he hopes to be a businessman…chose HPU for the baseball program, the coaches and the academics…major is Finance.

Prior to HPU: Graduated from Mid-Pacific Institute in Honolulu, HI…played baseball, coached by Dunn Muramura…was awarded 2008 First Team ILH All-Star, 2008 All-Star First Team, and 2008 HHSAA State Baseball All-Tournament Team…also lettered in bowling…then attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa in Honolulu, HI…played baseball under Mike Trapasso…was awarded 2010 Outstanding Scholar Athlete Award.

HPU: 2013: Begins second season. 2012: Played in 37 games, starting in 29 games...averaging .229 with 13 runs, two doubles, a triple, 16 RBI, 10 walks, and two stolen bases.
