A three-year letterwinner at Chaparral High School under head coach Troy Gerlach, Keanu Spenser arrives at Hawai‘i Pacific after competing at Scottsdale Community College, where he continued to develop as a first baseman and designated hitter.

Born and raised in Scottsdale, Keanu comes from a strong baseball-rooted family, with his father Kaipo having played at Arizona State and represented Team USA before being drafted by the Cleveland organization. Keanu chose HPU for the coaching staff and the environment he felt connected to from the start.

Off the field, he enjoys working out, Pokémon, and video games — and keeps his nutrition simple with a love for meat-based meals. His favorite athletes include Bo Jackson, Aaron Judge, and Chris Bumstead. Looking ahead, Keanu hopes to build a life centered around family, envisioning himself as a husband with a happy household in the future.
