Christian Perez arrives at Hawai‘i Pacific with a decorated résumé and a power presence at the corners. A standout at Sunnyslope High School, Perez collected multiple regional and statewide honors before continuing his career at New Mexico State, Grand Canyon University, and Sacramento State University under coach Reggie Christiansen. His accomplishments include 2023 WAC All-Conference recognition and a proven ability to produce at the plate.

Known as Papi, Perez brings competitive energy and maturity to HPU — choosing the Sharks for the coaching staff and the vision he sees in their plan. Away from baseball, he enjoys selling shoes, loves ceviche, and looks up to Miguel Cabrera as an inspiration. His long-term goal is clear: become a Major League Baseball player.
