A two-way talent from the Central Coast, Jayson Rodriguez brings arm strength, versatility, and a strong offensive presence to the Sharks. A four-year varsity starter at St. Joseph High School, Rodriguez excelled on the mound and across the infield under coaches Bryan Madsen and Erik Morrison, earning All-League honors three times while helping lead his program to a CIF Division I runner-up finish.

Born in San Luis Obispo and raised in Santa Maria, Jayson now turns the page to his collegiate career in Hawai‘i, pursuing Electrical Engineering while continuing to compete at a high level. He chose HPU for the opportunity to grow, play, and represent a program built on development and work ethic — with family support and a strong baseball foundation driving him forward.
