Summary

Biography

Brynlee Smith joins the Sharks cheer team in her first year from Palmer, Alaska. The 5-foot-6 backspot is pursuing a degree in Social Work at Hawai'i Pacific.

Smith comes to HPU after attending Mat-Su Central School in Palmer, where she competed in co-ed cheerleading as a backspot under coach Jasmine Talbot and earned four letters. She was an NCA All-American.

Smith chose HPU because she wanted a completely different environment from Alaska and a big change of scenery, and she believes she can excel there both academically and athletically.

In her free time, she enjoys singing, writing and reading. Looking ahead, she hopes to be living in Hawai'i or Alaska with a career she is passionate about, to be financially independent and to travel often. She was born in Anchorage, Alaska, and is the daughter of Kristen and Jeff. She has an older sister, Taylen, and a younger brother, Paxson.
