Biography

Chaezie Shiraishi joins the Sharks cheer team in her first year from Moanalua, Hawai'i. The 5-foot flyer and tumbler is pursuing a degree in Nursing at Hawai'i Pacific.

Shiraishi comes to HPU after attending Moanalua High School in Honolulu, where she competed in cheerleading as a flyer and tumbler under coaches Blossom Caballero, Kaycee Kealoha, Sheena Brewster and Chadie Shiraishi and earned four letters.
She was a four-time OIA champion and OIA All-Star cheerleader, a three-time state champion and a state runner-up. She also won a national championship and a grand national championship, as well as Summit divisional and Summit grand championships, and was an NCA All-American cheerleader.

Shiraishi chose HPU because she was performing at the state cheerleading competition during her freshman year of high school when HPU Cheer did a showcase, and she instantly knew it was where she wanted to be. Looking ahead, she hopes to become an aesthetician. She was born in Honolulu and is the daughter of Chad and Rehana. She has a brother, Chad, and sisters Chasitie, Chadie and Chazie.
