Marielle Hebert joins the Sharks cheer team in her first year from Malibu, California. The 5-foot-3 flyer is undecided on her major at Hawai'i Pacific.

Hebert comes to HPU after attending Malibu High School, where she competed in volleyball, tennis and cheerleading, playing right side in volleyball and flyer in cheerleading. She earned a varsity tennis letter, captained the varsity cheerleading team and earned Most Improved and Hardest Worker awards.

Hebert chose HPU for the cheer team and the location. In her free time, she enjoys surfing, hiking, snowboarding and thrifting. Looking ahead, she hopes to be employed, traveling and living a happy life. She was born in Lafayette, Louisiana, and is the daughter of Rachel and Derek. She has brothers Mathis and Maris and a sister, Madicyn.
