Hawaii Pacific University Athletics

Grace Polfer joins the Sharks cheer team in her first year from Huntington Beach, California. The 5-foot-1 main base is pursuing a degree in Psychology at Hawai'i Pacific.

Polfer comes to HPU after attending Huntington Beach High School, where she competed in cheerleading as a main base under coach Gianna Ruziecki and earned two letters. She earned the Captain's Award, was a Scholar Athlete and received the Tower Award in culinary.

Polfer chose HPU because she loves the beach, the ocean and Hawai'i, as well as the environment and vibe of the campus. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, working out, hiking and swimming. Looking ahead, she hopes to become a lawyer. She was born in Orange County, California. She has a brother, a sister, two half-sisters and three step-siblings.
