A four-year varsity catcher out of Lourdes High School, Sam Schneider arrives at Hawai‘i Pacific with experience, maturity, and a strong baseball mind behind the plate. Under coaches Dave Jenson and Chris Powell, he developed into an All-Conference performer before continuing his career at Gustavus Adolphus College, where he earned All-Conference Honorable Mention recognition in 2025.
Born in Dallas and raised in Minnesota, Schneider brings a versatile skill set and a passion for the game into the Sharks program while pursuing a degree in Accounting. Away from the diamond, he spends time cooking, exploring EDM, writing for his baseball blog, and running his catcher-focused Instagram page.
Schneider chose HPU for the winning mindset, competitive environment, and the chance to experience a completely new baseball culture far from home.
