Valor Castroll joins HPU as a switch-hitting left-handed pitcher with junior college success and a competitive edge on the mound. At Moorpark College he earned Team MVP honors along with a 2nd Team All-League selection, showcasing his ability to command innings and compete at a high level. Before college, he was a standout multi-role player at Oak Park High School, where he contributed as a pitcher, first baseman, and DH.

Castroll chose Hawai‘i Pacific University for its staff belief in his ability and the genuine connection he felt with coaches. He brings both maturity and upside to the Sharks pitching staff while pursuing a Business degree. Away from baseball, he enjoys time with family, good pizza, and takes inspiration from athletes like Patrick Mahomes.
