Dyllan Bushey joins the Sharks cheer team in her first year from Milton, Vermont. The 5-foot athlete is pursuing a degree in Psychology at Hawai'i Pacific.

Bushey comes to HPU after attending Milton High School in Milton, where she competed in gymnastics and softball, playing outfield in softball, under coaches Stephanie Wagar, Trevor Wagar and Dorey Lynne Myers.

Bushey chose HPU because it felt like the perfect fit both on and off the mat. She loved the opportunity to compete in STUNT at the NCAA Division II level while pursuing her academic goals, and she was drawn to the ocean, warm weather and the chance to experience different cultures. In her free time, she enjoys gymnastics, martial arts, art and working out. Looking ahead, she hopes to work as a psychologist, psychiatrist, marine biologist or forensic psychologist. She was born in Burlington, Vermont. Her family includes Nicole, Josh and Colton Bushey.
